"A pure river of life, as clear as crystal"

About Us

We strive to be welcoming at all services and events, and there will always be people around to help you out. Our aim is to be informally formal, or formally informal – that is, we always want to do our best in worship and give glory to God in all that we do, but we are relaxed if things don’t necessarily work out the way it was planned. It’s a good idea to arrive a few minutes before the service you’ve decided to come to – so that you can see where everything is.

When you arrive there will be a Welcoming team handing out service booklets and the weekly news sheet. This will tell you everything you need to know, but just ask if you’ve got any questions.

We have a number of different services throughout the week, each with a slightly different flavour – have a look at our Worship page where you will see descriptions of each of them.

There are refreshments after the 10am service – do hang around to meet people. We have proper coffee in proper mugs, along with proper tea and juice. And there is often cake!

St. Mary’s Chiddingfold is an Inclusive Church. We are part of the Church of England.
We are in the Diocese of Guildford and the Godalming Deanery.
